This is some of the work that goes on behind the scenes to keep a main line steam locomotive in operation:

RPSI volunteer Mark clears away the ash from under No 186 at her temporary home in Lisburn Yard.
 James and Phil prepare to remove the drainage plugs from the firebox end of the boiler in preparation for the boiler washout.
