Saturday 26th April: (171 LE) Belfast YR - Antrim - Lisburn - Belfast GVS; (171) Belfast GVS - Dublin Connolly; (4) Dublin Connolly - Cork; (171 LE) Dublin Connolly - Cork; (171) Cork - Cobh & return. No 171 blew a piston gland at Castlebellingham en route to Dublin, and No.4’s pony truck became derailed in the shed yard at Cork on arrival. Sunday 27th April: (171+4) Cork - Rathduff & return; (171+4) Cork - Rathduff; (171) Rathduff - Limerick Junction - Limerick; (4 LE) Rathduff - Limerick Junction - Limerick; (171) Limerick - Ballybrophy (via direct curve); (4 LE) Limerick - Ballybrophy (via direct curve); (171+4) Ballybrophy - Dublin Connolly; (171) Dublin Connolly - Belfast GVS. At Limerick No.4 derailed a second time. Final arrival in Belfast was at 3am the following morning.
