351 Goes Dutch (2010)

An exhibition "Top Class, Majestic Journeys" was held from 15th April to 5th September 2010 in the Netherlands Railway Museum in Utrecht. It was a large international exhibition of royal trains from around the world And of course 351, the Irish State Coach was there.

6/4/2010: A low loader has arrived at Inchicore yard to take a little piece of our history further than it had ever been before.

6/4/2010: 351 waits patiently to be loaded.

6/4/2010: The preparations for loading get under way.

6/4/2010: 351 is winched on board.

6/4/2010: All set, and ready to go!

6/4/2010: Low-loaded!

13/4/2010: The exhibition at the Spoorwegmuseum, Utrecht, was opened on the next day by Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands. 351 is on temporary 5'3" track. (B. Humphries)
