Following the detailed and extensive overhaul of GS&WR J15 0-6-0 No.186, there was a re-launch ceremony at Whitehead on 23rd July 2004. Chief Executive of Translink, Keith Moffatt was the guest of honour. Significant media interest in the RPSI was generated. This page pulls together just some of the press cuttings. The locomotive subsequently won the HRA's prestigious John Coiley Award for Locomotive Preservation for 2004.
