This former British Railways Mk2a coach arrived at Whitehead on Sunday 23rd June 2003, having been overhauled for the RPSI at the Lancastrian Carriage and Wagon Works in Heysham.

It has a centre door on the corridor side, giving it 5 doors - a useful feature - but due to the expense and complexity of central door locking, this door is now permanently locked off.

Mk2 180 at Dundalk on 12th May 2008. Locomotive No.4 is hauling the return 'Barrow Bridge' railtour train from Dublin to Whitehead. Here it is waiting to operate a local trip back to Drogheda. (C.P.Friel)
