The RPSI carriages were the Mullingar set.

Booked to be double-headed by Nos. 85 and 4 between Dundalk and Belfast, but while running light to Dundalk, No.4 sustained a hot crankpin and it was decided to continue light engine.

No.85 later worked them to Whitehead, the remaining seven coaches being stored at York Road pending trackwork at Whitehead.
