This Halloween, treat the whole family to an unforgettable day at Whitehead Excursion Station with Wings and Whistles - a spooky seasonal adventure packed with steam-powered fun and fantastic feathered friends! Climb aboard a real steam train ride, explore the museum dressed in your favourite costume, and come face-to-face with amazing birds of prey, including owls, hawks, and falcons. You’ll get the chance to learn about these incredible creatures and snap some brilliant photos - no jump scares, just jaw-dropping fun!

Your ticket includes:

• A short steam train ride through the historic site
• Access to our 5-gallery Museum (allow at least an hour), decorated for Halloween
• The chance to see birds of prey up close and learn about them
• Plush pumpkin to take home for applicable tickets
• Family-friendly Halloween activities, games, and photo spots
• Optional Halloween costume fun – dress to impress!

Afterwards, you can treat yourself to tea/coffee and snacks in our café.
